What do you think we should call our ‘ Nuremberg’ trials?
How much do I need to lose before the universe realizes I’m as strong as I want to be and instead of throwing me obstacles it starts throwing me pillows?
I don’t give up,but that doesn’t mean I’m not scared. I’m afraid of losing even more of my independence. My legs are useless & depending on my treatment, my arms will become weakened too. I’m afraid of melting into my bed & fading into the nothingness of the forgotten poor & burdensome.

In light of my cancer diagnosis, my fear has become magnified. Every system I need to rely on now is under threat of extinction. If those systems are allowed to die, I won’t be far behind.

I woke up a different person today. I woke up as a woman with cancer. I’m not surprised by the diagnosis. The women in my biological family laid the path well for me. Every one of them walked this path too. I knew my destiny was to follow. I hope that my outcome can be different.

Haven’t posted much lately. Life is getting harder by the day. The fact that many see me as a drain on society and worthless is hitting me hard. With every program cut, every cruel comment & every red hat it becomes more obvious that my life no longer matters in America. 😞
