I'm scared by upcoming transitions in my life. I want to pretend everything's normal, that I can keep doing the things I enjoy, but it's almost certain that part of me is going away. I don't want to say anything, but letting it die silently feels sad too, so here's a note for me to stop pretending.

Wrote a more detailed Furum thank you note on Facebook, but overall it was a great time meeting up with familiar faces old and new. Also helped that I didn't put too much pressure on myself to dress up and be noticed; no expectations means no stress!

Started learning watercolours and it's definitely a lot harder to control than acrylic.

Experimental. Tried to follow the method I use for physical paintings by restricting myself to Procreate’s new default oil brush and painting on a single layer. Messy af but I think hot sauce ratboy turned out okay.
