For the next couple of months, I’ll be jet-setting around the world, seeing and experiencing things, and experiencing a new feeling that I haven’t felt before: the feeling of being vulnerable but still feeling safe.

I’ve been single and independent for almost 10 years now; deep down, my heart was looking for somebody like me. Three years later, I found somebody who completes me, understands me, and loves me for who I am. I can find my identity and voice, and I can’t be more thankful than at this moment.

I’m almost finished with this quarter at Foothill College. Finally, I will work towards my transfer to San Jose State University. My dream of becoming a writer will come true in the next two years. Things are gonna be so different. I’ll finally complete something I’ve been looking for too for years
