Low water on the Kennall River. 200 years ago, the channel was deep enough for oceangoing timber ships to bring cut lumber from Norway. Since then, silt buildup has choked the riverbed. The only boats that remain are the ones left to rot away in the brackish tidal ebb.

I thought this could be a cool place to collect a new project I started working on recently and want to carry forward into 2025: Documenting the seasons, climate impact, and industrial history of the Kennall River in Cornwall, primarily using a Graflex large format camera.
