Caucused last night. It was 15 degrees. They finally just let everyone in and had us register in the rooms, because the lines were so long it would have taken over an hour to register people at the door.

I’m with other Minnesota clergy staging a sit-in. Target must 1) demand ICE out of Minnesota; 2) refuse to allow ICE stage in their parking lots; 3) demand that Congress defund ICE; 4) demand that Jonathan Ross be prosecuted.

I was number 100 this morning. We had city council and school board on the ballot.

I participated in a “Health Care Nightmare” press conference yesterday. Allina is closing clinics, which was the presenting issue, but we also called out the increasing costs as one of our largest insurers has pulled out of the state exchange, the GOP is abolishing subsides.
A group of about 30 people, some wearing Halloween costumes, are standing in front of an Allina Health Clinic. Many are holding signs protesting against the cost and unavailability of healthcare. Several are in clerical collars, indicating a religious office.

Had a great time catching up with @jm-soccer.bsky.social today! It’s been way too long. Also, he showed me this truly epic historical marker.

It gives the full text of his remarks, the number of cars in his motorcade, and notes that he sipped a glass of lemonade, among many other trivial things.
