I can’t stop thinking about the stuffies in Renee Good’s glove box. The phone charger plugged into the outlet. The binder full of paperwork tipped over on her passenger side. The familiarity of her mundane life is inseparable from my own. The sadness that it’s come to an end, leaves me in shambles.
