This is a lovely, patient album that "makes sense" whether you play it in the trees or the dark fold of an idea-world. Calming and I love "A Vivid Imagination" for its images.
I'm back with a new release, under the new alias Forest Dweller!
Mastered by @exitchamber.bsky.social / Out now on CS/DL on Peak.

Once again reminding folks that the ethical replacement to using Spotify isn’t another streaming platform; it’s buying music from artists when you’re in the financial position to do so and pirating them when you’re unable to do so. Or simply ask an artist for the files, like actually.

Disrespectful and egregious behavior from Spotify yet again. Streaming services have free rein to warp, mimic, and underpay artists, and it must end. We need strong regulations to protect musicians on all platforms, not just Spotify. We need the Living Wage for Musicians Act NOW.

The people running our music industry are the same people “doubling down” on AI military technology. To build a fair and just music industry, we also must dismantle imperialism in all its forms. Daniel Ek is a warmonger who pays artists poverty wages 🤮

Loose Ends was released 10 years ago today on Sound In Silence! This collection of indie-electronic stray tracks is a bit of an outlier in my discography, in that it sort of foreshadows Pandorama.
This is now “name your price” on bandcamp for the occasion: juliendemoulin.bandcamp.com/album/loose-...

This one is a total gem... do yourself a favor and pick it up if you haven't already!
Also next week is the second run of qd28 Wil Bolton South of the Lake - a wonderfully serene and life-affirming album from this fantastic musician.
Lots of interest in this so don’t sleep if you want.

Much love and see you next week!
