Celebrating a birthday is exalting life and being glad for it. On a birthday we do not say: “Thanks for what you did, or said, or accomplished.” No, we say: “Thank you for being born and being among us.”

I just joined StoryGraph to try for this year. Bringing over my books from Goodreads was simple. You can label books as dnf which is key to me. They have an ai interface that predicts whether you would like the book. I also like that it’s not tied to amazon.

The Tangible Kingdom by Hugh Halter helped me realize my life in a secular job can be useful to God. Absolutely revolutionized how we live. We now have monthly potlucks at our house for everyone we know.
