Whoa, Nelly! Little House+childhood trauma on a train--w/ footnotes!

They’re talking on Threads about childhood dissociation through reading. That’s the entire reason I wrote this novel. If you spent hours as a child reading anything from Harry Potter to the Bible, or even the Little House books, this novel is for you. And if you survived childhood trauma, I see you
Say hey! Grab me a book to read!! Award-winning fiction/memoir from Sibylline Press.

They wouldn't be moving this fast and this hard if there were no midterms coming.

I recently read this historical novel and can vouch that it's a powerful, detailed look at the real Rosie the Riveter women and the Port Chicago explosion. I highly recommend this well-written, thoughtfully composed novel.

A reminder that while this is an author account, writing books is absolutely political because you can’t write if ICE murders you.

Today is not technically the first day back at work after the hols, but I'm at my desk anyway, trying to get ahead of the wave. Coffee, my portable heater, a sweater, and my flying fingers…onward into 2026!

My "how many books I read" list is very short -- I read about 200 manuscripts of unpublished books but actually published, bound books? Ur. Fewer than 10. I'm reading as fast as I can, but I only have two eyes, and they have to work together. 🤓👀

Happy birthday, Jane Austen.

Jane lies in Winchester, blessed be her shade!
Praise the Lord for making her, and her for all she made.
And while the stones of Winchester--or Milson Street--remain,
Glory, Love, and Honour unto England's Jane!
