My family and I are celebrating Thanksgiving the way the original patriots did. We're going to find an indigenous family, kick them out of their home and live there. Then we'll be thankful for all the Indian stuff we took.

The wealthy do not labor but they live better than those who do labor. As a result, they have to perform ritual labor in order to give the appearance that they deserve the unearned luxuries that they hoard.

When will we see thru that façade elevate labor above wealth?

I respect the fact that any individual should be recognized as the gender that they claim to be. One's understanding of oneself is not to be questioned by outsiders. Nonetheless, the English language should also be respected. I suggest an approach.

"The program was funded by Monroe County's Department of Human Services and the city of Rochester."

Not really - it's state anti-poverty money.

Very pleased to see direct cash investments in moms.

Long ago, my Dad worked w/ inventors perfecting perpetual motion machines that would run forever without needing outside energy. Never actual working but always short of that one tweak that would make it run forever.

Just like modern AI promising superior intelligence but for that one little tweak.

Are we stuck with a system wherein billionaires own everything and everyone else has to survive on what's left? I think not. I think we can pull out of this disaster and build something beautiful.

Universal Basic Income (UBI) might be a solution but it isn't a solution for what you think. That's because poverty isn't a problem. It's a symptom of a deeper problem, a problem that is near and dear to the tech bros who advocate UBI.
UBI Is Not a Solution
It’s an excuse for no solution.

Recent readings of the U.S. Constitution at Fairport & Pittsford libraries. Good feedback from both but mostly, the librarians informed other librarians. We're getting active requests from libraries now!

Next target needs to be local pubs. The Constitution goes down a lot smoother with a nice ale.

Reminder: Voice the Constitution tomorrow (Sat) 2:00PM at Pittsford library. More fun than you'd think. Find out what was forbidden for 20 yrs, who swears on a Bible & is Columbia over-exposed.

Registration recommended since there's limited seating.

AI provides only what appears to be value. It fools people into believing it is a helpful companion but it is a dangerous tool of tech authoritarian corruption.

AI is ALWAYS harder than thinking.

Accidentally started Gemini on my Android. While deactivating it I said, "My God, I hate this AI."

It responded, "That's alright. Everyone feels that way sometimes."

DON"T GET CONFUSED!

It was a machine navigating a Markov chain in response to an input. It was NOT forgiving me.

Joe Morelle, in a recent town hall, said that Constitutional Amendments were part of the Dem strategy. An example of not understanding the game. This SCOTUS can read any amendment any way they like to get the outcome they want.

Good example in Trump v. United States.
