What a privilege - watching Hamnet at a private screening hosted by the @WomensPrize, based on the Women’s Prize-winning novel (2020) by Maggie O’Farrell. Director Chloé Zhao introduced the film, plus a Q&A w/ Maggie O'Farrell & Co-Producer Liza Marshall. Such a treat!

The stunning proofs of @tayari’s fifths novel, Kin, have just arrived in the office! Out March 26th!

Apart from the publicity circus that greets Booker winners, it’s also worth noting the additional number of language rights then sold of the winning novel - and often much or all of the authors’ backlist - so the authors are often required to travel the world promoting their foreign editions too.
