i really appreciate aktys aesthetic differences as a pair so i always try to portray it..!! instead of worrying about the hair looking 100% on model accurate, im trying to shift my focus on capturing their simplest forms the viewer can easily digest while still being authentic.

i always find it very interesting seeing what parts of my art have changed, and remained the same over time

im also secretly trying to make toyas bangs cover his eyes a little more or look a little longer in my art because its my guilty pleasure in characters …. i dont like how i make his hair/back of his hair unintentionally look too long sometimes tho At least in my eyes

i got worried i havent been improving much this year again so im comparing aktys from the start of the year to recent stuff.. i can say ive improved a little i think! im really trying to hone in on their eye shapes and making them more distinguished from eachother
