Figma Make would be ideal to refine existing static prototypes. but it seems you cannot directly hand them over yet? Recreating them via the chat interface is not always that great...

is it mandatory to provide WCAG-compatible contrast ratios for form elements like checkboxes per default in order to be compliant with the European Accessibility Act (EAA)? or could e.g. media queries like 'prefers-contrast' be a solution here? #eaa #accessibility

almost 20 years ago I started a personal weblog with @wordpress.org which really sparked my interest in webstandards and building an online presence.

I just digged into the archives on the @waybackmachine.bsky.social and found some old favorites and sites that are often not existing anymore.

For some time now looking at my iPhone ProMotion screen was causing eye strain and light headache. Apparently limiting the frame rate to 60 Hertz helped. Anyone else experienced something similar?

I recently switched a project to the Inter variable font, and then noticed that nothing was bold anymore, as font-weight: 700; (or any other value for font-weight) has no effect with variable fonts...

Blue Sky recreates a phenomenon from ‘old internet’ where you will be scrolling along and then there will just be a link to a cool article that you’d like to read. It’s sad how so much of the modern internet has scrubbed this idea. It’s a network. You’re supposed to explore around it.
