To intervene does not mean a physical altercation with the perpetrator. Stand with or near the person being attacked. Let them know you support them. Ask if they are okay. Get others to do the same. At a business, let clerks/owners know it is not acceptable, they will lose you as a customer.
Seriously though, we’re going to see a wave of these incidents just like we did the last time Trump took office and everyone needs to be prepared for how they’ll deal with them. Everyone.

This won't mean anything to any of you. But today I have done some shopping. Made a pie. Fixed a casserole for breakfast tomorrow. Wrapped presents. I have been sick for 2+ years. And, I was recently diagnosed with blood cancer. Today, I know the treatment is working. Yay me.
