One of the hardest parts of writing Mirror Falls, I'm finding, is making sure everyone's birthdate and timelines all work properly!
The story (as you'll learn) is tied to some real-world Canadian history, and it's WAY harder than I thought to make sure each character lines up at an appropriate age.

It varies province to province but I believe youβd have a 3-6 mo waiting period, and then if youβre already citizens and then-residents youβre covered again. But check with an immigration consultant. I am not one of those.
