Our school board cohort is made up of local leaders and educators nationwide. From big cities to small towns, they advocate every day for the millions of students and thousands of communities who rely on the public school system.

Today, they speak with one voice - hands off our public schools.

My classes co-create a culture statement at the beginning of each semester. It’s an iterative process - reflecting, ideating, drafting (repeat). As I read through the current drafts (4 classes), here are the concepts that come up most frequently: safety, care, space (for ideas, voices).
