Trump hopes that by firing Bovino it will placate enough people to take some of the heat off ICE so they can resume their gestapo shit with less scrutiny.

I can't help thinking about the Standing Rock standoff (2016-2017) and while it was a horrible affront to the Lakota Sioux and their allies, and while many were injured by rubber bullets, freezing water canons, and attack dogs, no one was killed.

Loss of control over everyday life is the primary reason for suicide, isn't it?...maybe over a certain age...like 65-plus. 48,800 people were thought to commit suicide in 2024. Stats aren't in for 2025 yet.

I remember Standing Rock in South-central North Dakota where a "private" company fought unarmed civilians for months using freezing water and attack dogs (and rifles). Doug Burgum was the governor, who went on to become Trump's Secretary of the Interior. All the same people I love to hate.
