5/5) Regardless of what they claim, Europe & India's reluctance to scrutinize each other is fueling, not containing, the global race to the bottom.

Reversing that trend shouldn’t be that hard for the world's largest democracies: they should just start behaving as such. But today won’t be that day.

We covered a lot of ground.

I urged Beijing to find solutions to rebalance our economic relations and to stop enabling Russia’s war against Ukraine.

I addressed human rights issues and we discussed the crises in the Middle East.
