Being a fan of #Wicked since the early 2000s, I was quite anxious to listen to the #soundtrack of the new movie. Here's what I think: This is one of the best musicals ever written, and the orchestra makes it shine. The new arrangement really does the music justice and is pure ear candy. (1/x)

So. I have BFA in music theatre and performed in professional productions. Wicked was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. My standards for this show are impossibly high. The movie exceeded them and then some. I think this may be the best movie adaptation of a stage show ever. #Wicked

Goodness! I hadn’t prepared myself for just how spectacular the #Wicked film would turn out. Jon Chu put amazing care into this stunning adaptation. I’ve always loved the musical, so was skeptical going in. However, I fell in love with this cast (perfect chemistry), the extravagance, and the magic.

Just saw #Wicked last night and it was genuinely one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The emotion in EVERY actor’s performance was so immersive and it was a great adaption from book to stage to screen. Definitely recommend it to anyone, regardless of being a new or old fan!! 💚🩷

If for some reason you haven't seen a movie yet this year, I highly recommend Wicked. It's a visual spectacle that stays true to the source material.
Last year the film to watch was Oppenheimer, and this year it's Wicked. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes home multiple Oscars.
