Somewhat surprisingly the mushroom risotto on the @lner.co.uk East Coast menu is better than the majority of restaurant risotto I’ve had in the past. Genuinely quite impressed.

Trust this government to manage to bury *good* news while everyone is distracted by the US/Ukraine debacle. Ditching leasehold, miscarriage leave rights and new sick leave rights seem positive, well thought out and uncontroversial. You’d think they might want more people to notice.

I think the Lib Dems have misjudged things on farm IHT. It seems pretty reasonable in targeting the larger estates (~£3m+ in many cases) and I just don’t buy the counter arguments. If food security or small farm viability are at issue - address those issues with appropriate subsidies 1/2
