this weekend im helping @adulture.bsky.social and @hexselenas.bsky.social sell things at anime pasadena. if you put me behind a convention table I will start making bespoke signage

i updated my copy of csp recently and the ability to rotate the pivot of the free transform gizmo is such a nice feature... no longer will you need to straighten out an angled object to distort it properly... sooooo nice. i recommend getting version 5.0 for this

oh nice, clip studio paint has photoshop-style smart objects / file references. (so you can link a .clip canvas inside of another .clip canvas and it automatically updates) its called "file object" btw.

i dont use smart objects frequently, but on the rare occasions i did it was very handy

recovered enough emotionally to investigate pdf creation for future print attempts. using print-to-pdf was a genius idea i saw in a comment but upon close examination i noticed that it compresses the image a bit, which isnt ideal when it comes to printing art. i want the max amount of quality

printed out wip pages of my comic to make sure the size is okay. how much..... can I get done by my deadline (tuesday morning)...........

currently im in the "valley of frustration" on the art improvement graph cuz i notice my bad art habits. which makes me not want to draw. which is counterintuitive because u have to be on that targeted grindset to overcome habits. alas... the fallow season...
