I believe military service is noble. I grew up a military brat and know the real sacrifices involved. But no role confers moral character. Serving despite the cost adds weight; using service as a tool for legitimacy subtracts from it. True respect welcomes scrutiny.

At what point do we physically fight for our country. How long do we have to see the institutions being dismantled, people getting illegally imprisoned, or the president profiting off of power unconfronted.
The courts no longer have authority, and our politicians lack spines.

What will it take?

Who else but SCOTUS to choose WHEN rulings are "subject to narrow exceptions recognized by our precedents."
