I love my country and worry about it every day. I am a lifelong Democrat, and my thinking is more middle of the road and not extreme left. I live with my soul mate, and I am not looking for another one. Please don't message me unless it's important.
Everyday when I read the news I never fail to be shocked. I keep asking myself "why am I shocked?" However I am. I am shocked and I am sad and I am afraid. How will we ever get out of the mess being created now? When will we see the light at the end of the tunnel?

I posted in FaceBook about how hundreds of people are being let go from their federal jobs. One of my FaceBook 'friends' replied about an undocumented person in California getting arrested. She then talked about Newsome and illegals in California. Comparing apples and oranges. MAGA thinking.

I did not march during No Kings Day. However, I am proud to say that my daughter and quite a few of my friends DID march. It was a great day! Now for the important people to see this.

If you are marching on Saturday, please be aware of your surroundings. I think that there are instigators out there that will cause problems. Such a scary time that we are all living in.

I am a moderate liberal. One thing that really bothers me is that I am absolutely pounded with e-mails and text messages. They ask me to reply to poles. However, when I do, they then ask for money at the end. I am already donating monthly what I can. I think my replies are not seen without $$$

Where are our rescuers? I sure hope that there are rescuers. I don't think our country will ever be the same even if Trump, Vance and Musk are gone. It makes me very sad.

Wish I could stop worrying about the future of our country. I daily share things, that our government is doing, on FaceBook so that it doesn't stay hidden. I donate the small amount I can afford to help my party but I still worry.
