I'm perched in the Y of a targe tree trunk with my arms reaching to the sky like branches. The bark of the madrone tree tends to peel away, leaving a silky smooth surface. This image is black & white, the next photo is the same in color.

This remote lake is actually one of the most popular areas of this Wilderness area, but I had it all to myself. The lake water is crystal clear with a tinge of aqua, like the Caribbean. I'm standing on rocks sticking out of the water, striking a pose like maybe I was bowling. LOL
