Overheard an organizer talk to a police officer about counterprotesters outside the plaza. Said safety is not at risk. Wanted to go check them out but the dense crowd makes it hard to maneuver. It looks like there's a significant number outside the fence in addition to the capacity crowd inside.

Ran into former state Sen. and AG candidate Jen Jordan today. Jordan told me she's not running for office in 2026 because she wants to spend time with her youngest daughter, who will be preparing to graduate high school and head off to college. She said she may consider running in a future cycle.
