Just heard on the news: Congress is assembling the new budget and they want to cut mandatory payments. That means cutting social security, Medicare, Medicaid, meals on wheels, etc. You mess with our necessities; we the elderly, veterans, and disabled are coming for you!!!

Seems whose our daddy is unclear. Musk or Trump. I don't recall anyone named Musk being on the ballot. Anyone else observe the same thing? Plus, Biden is currently president and the Senate is under Democratic control.

I know my Senators are not yet on bsky, but when you join, I want you to know, do not cut my social security and do not harm my Medicare! You could cut costs by eliminating Part C and signing folks up for subsidized supplements. Part C is good if you're healthy, but not if you get, like, cancer.
