I think I've found a new writing project! Taking place on the hot savannah fields of Varranq, it'll be a fantasy entry inspired by tons of African mythology. With the first eight pages written, I've already fallen in love with the idea.

After putting in the last bit of drafting work I needed, I closed out the final chapter in my WIP with 1,892 words, officially bringing my newest novella to a close! It may not be 50k, but it's finished!!

I've figured out what I want my latest WIP to be. After trying all of November to remodel it into a novel, it feels better as a smaller novella. The more condensed storytelling just feels more natural.

It won't hit the 50k word goal. But that's okay.
