I figured that was the case, having tried to read and understand both the DS spec and some of the DS code base itself. Would definitely love to end up seeing how it compares. Nice at least to have an existing framework to benchmark against.

Were this firewall to be breached, there’s an easy response journalists like yourself at the Post could make.

1. Reach out to each other and get a commitment to quit in conjunction

2. Form a new outlet, structured as a cooperative that is employee-owned

Can you please start by prioritizing support requests that report malware being delivered to users through spoofed repositories? I’m going crazy trying to find a single channel where I can get someone at GitHub to care a single ounce about this.

@ben.balter.com do you know anyone I can get in touch with at GitHub Security? I have had a request open for days about a spoofed repo that is hosting malware that steals credentials and is easily confused with my repo for an app built for democratic activists. Worse, there are many such repos.
