Freedom / Liberty may be Imperfect, but it's Precious & Priceless (Even to those who want to take it away from / deny it to others).
Order indicates an Equilibrium of understanding & capability.

Corruption / Nazis / Tyrants exploits Liberty to kill itself, they don't want "order" they want control.
Unfortunately an accurate diagnostic, it's shockingly more frequent starting 2016 (Unsurprisingly, I can guess why), & the common factors are within the Venn diagram of teens (especially those who watches way too much anime 😒).

It's a pattern
Ask a man to describe the qualities of a good woman and watch him describe a slave.

NYT accidentally tells the truth: real voters want progressives who fight, not moderates who triangulate and lose politely. The base isn’t confused, apathetic, or asking for vibes. They want material change and backbone against fascism.

Kudos to Stephen Colbert for standing up for himself and against tyranny.

I've always been a fan of his — going way back to the Colbert Report years.

I enjoyed chatting with him in August. Here's a brief clip from our discussion.

The Black Panther actor’s melding of social commentary and Shakespearean themes is sometimes opaque yet undeniably poetic

1. DHS surges 3,000 officers to Minneapolis without doing anywhere near enough prep first.
2. Hundreds of habeas cases overwhelm local courts.
3. Dozens of DOJ lawyers quit in disgust/anger.
4. The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover.
5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

Is it because Samsung phones are restricted to be imported into Russia or because Russia is killing Ukrainian civilians?

Why did IOC include Russia in the first place? That they did and then stiffed the athletes probably because of sanctions, shows how unserious the committee is, like FIFA.

Honestly, punishing the athletes because their country is committing crimes is dumb. If they can't treat them the same way they treat athletes from every other country then they shouldnt have been invited.

I suppose they could have been given Samsung Tracfones from Best Buy, just $39.99. 🤣

Russian state media is furious: "Russian athletes did not receive Samsung phones as gifts like the other athletes, and were told this is because the distribution is restricted by the IOC"

Who knows what's true, but there are videos of them unpacking gifts and finding shampoo and toothpaste instead.
