Cancel the media. Literally cancel all your subscriptions. Washington post, NYT, Disney+, ESPN+, paramount, Hulu, prime, etc. Cancel them all. Don’t watch ABC or CBS. And delete all non-Bluesky social media accounts. It won’t be easy at first. But you will survive and be better for it. I promise.

I don’t think the media is “failing” or “capitulating.” I think they are accomplishing exactly what they set out to do: appease the dear leader so they can consolidate and monopolize the industry so only a handful of gazillionaires get to cash the government checks when it all becomes state media.

I woke up this morning expecting to see wall-to-wall coverage of furious democrats raging about the kidnapping of a congresswoman in Texas. Instead, my entire feed is donald trump’s appearance on fox and friends. We are doing this all wrong. Our trump addiction is real. We need to go to rehab.

I’m no expert but I can only see two ways out of this mess. 1) stop handing money to plutocrats. We can live without Amazon, Meta, Tesla, etc. 2) end the Trump addiction by ignoring that fool. Don’t watch, read, click, or share anything from mainstream media. Stay informed by independent journalism.
