Captured a great picture of a bee flying towards a Chicory (Cichorium intybus) flower. An invasive species found on disturbed areas. Did you know that the whole plant is edible, and it is often mixed with coffee! #ESA2025

10th year anniversary of the ESA EJ Crosstown Walk with the magnificent Charlie Nilon! During #ESA2025 we walked around West Baltimore, Sequoia & Powhatan Ave, Hanlon Park, Ashburton & S. Powhatan Ave. We learned about invasive species, redevelopment, gentrification, & #environmentaljustice!

I strongly recommend #ESA2025 @ecologicalsociety.bsky.social to post their updates equally across all platforms. You are bringing the society together, don’t alienate us across platforms. Bring us together everywhere. Theme of the meeting! Many of us stopped using, not comfortable w “other X site”.
The staff is migrating up to Baltimore for the next week and looking forward to seeing you all! Keep an eye on #ESA2025 on the *other site* for updates.
