People are talking about how tonight might be the straw, but that's not how these things tend to go. The authoritarians will continue to escalate and become less discriminatory of who they target, and we will continue to move the line that can't be crossed. This is how fascist movements take power.

Now that the dust has settled on our election, it's tempting to sit back and breathe a sigh of relief. That would be a grave mistake. Separatist rallies are planned for Saturday, and voter rights are already being attacked. The fight has just started. Savor the win, but stay vigilant.
