Dry January Day 18. I usually don’t go the distance as I get this far & question why I’m not feeling any different from wet months. It’s still as hard to wake up on a dark January morning & I don’t get the vigour others extol when they give up the sauce. It’s less fun though. However I will prevail!

Was looking forward to entering the first week of 2025 with a smug dry-January zip. Reality has been 4 days immobile with flu wishing for a swift death. I’m feeling a little… swizzed.

After 3 years my web hosting for my portfolio site was up for renewal. It went up from £222 to £606 for another 3 years. With some back and forth and referencing other companies' prices. I got them down to £234. They clearly have insane margins. Haggle!

Been 2-3 months since have been using iOS 18 and I just can’t get onboard with the new calendar. Not intuitive at all. Same with aspects of the control centre. All a bit over engineered.
