im really annoyed by how much money this trip ended up costing due to my injury. im honestly more fucking mad about that than i am about the injury. we paid for a hotel we cant even use and extra car rental days im just pissed augh.

The games industry brings in 300 billion dollars a year. The guy who made DOOM gets his projects canceled, the guy who made Katamari Damacy is broke, everyone in your feed is begging for a job and there are 50 new games coming out on Steam every day all going towards buying Gabe Newell's next yacht
Keita Takahashi (Katamari, Wattam, Noby Noby Boy) has moved back to Japan, and says he may be forced to quit the games industry due to To a T underperforming.

i feel like some kind of knockoff action figure. it can PUT ON ITS OWN PANTS. it can PUT ON A BRA. it can GET OUT OF BED IN ONE TRY. it can STRETCH. it can EAT SITTING ON A COUCH. but given where i was at even 48hrs ago (screaming in pain on an er cot) this is huge huge progress

our air bnb host basically said "go fuck yourself" about our reservation getting moved so we're trying to figure that out but the good news is that i am going to be well enough to travel tomorrow so we WILL be home by sam's birthday.
