If anyone’s had to deal with disputes before, this is one of the most practical and useful applications of AI I’ve seen.

Two somewhat contradictory beliefs I hold:

1. You should absolutely overengineer your personal homepage/blog/projects. Experiment with as many things as you can as quickly as possible.

2. If you _really_ wanted to write that blog post, you'd figure it out with a .txt file. Don't overcomplicate it.

Had a blast sharing a new side project at the AIR Show & Tell last night at Index Space.

(and love seeing all the smiles after the fact since it was tunnel vision for me during the talk 😅)

I wish I could have AI in my IDE in the sense that I could tell it to never show me certain auto-suggestions ever again and it’ll listen and maybe even apologize.

In case it’s helpful to anyone else… my local `vercel dev` randomly slowed down to 1-2 sec for every request that went through it—even assets. No idea what it was until I realized that the requests were directly affected by the number of files in my repo. Using `.vercelignore` instantly fixed it. 🌠

Just troubleshooted (shot?) an issue that stumped multiple AI models, but was the first Stack Overflow result when searching Google. 🙃

Update: I got my hopes up too soon. While the fixed worked locally, it broke production and further attempts by the AI agent to fix it ended up down red herring rabbit holes and used up all my “premium request” credits for the month… in a single night. 🙃

😳 Looks like I have a new junior dev.

If this actually works, I’ll never say anything bad about AI ever again.

(if only coding agents were around when we had Webpack…)

I think the reason I’m having so much fun building a native app with Capacitor is because it feels like Adobe Air did for my Flash apps—nothing’s different about the code I’m writing, but now I have access to the OS’s SDK.

If you’re not a React person either, check it out: capacitorjs.com

Several months ago, my dad invited me to go with him to the Indy 500, which is this upcoming weekend, and it couldn’t be a better weekend for NYC basketball, so I took full advantage of the opportunity…

👋 Looking for a full-time backend engineer to jam with.

- a plus if they’re into AI
- a bigger plus if they’re into automating personal finance
- US-based (a huge plus if NYC/east coast)

Would love some help asking around. 🙏
