NEW: The #Texans liked Aireontae Ersery so much, that they initially tried to trade up 20 spots in the 2nd round to get him.

On the Texans’ new rookie OT, who despite all odds, could become C.J. Stroud's blindside protector for many years to come.

I profiled Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio this week ahead of the draft.

He’s aggressive, intelligent, he’s helped get the Texans in a stable place after four years.

But you never quite know what he’s thinking.

Don't be surprised if the Texans go after 49ers LB Dre Greenlaw in free agency.

The 49ers reportedly want him back, but a source tells me, the Texans are expected to express some interest.

It'll be interest to see what happens in the next 30 minutes.

NEW: What's the latest buzz in the #Texans search for a new OC?

I've been chatting with several league sources.

A decision could come as soon as Sunday, but likely next week.

Who do yall want DeMeco Ryans to hire for OC?
January 26, 2025 at 11:24 PM
COLUMN: The Houston Texans can hire Ohio State’s Chip Kelly to be their next OC. They can hire their current QBs coach Jerod Johnson.

However, it won’t matter, though, unless they get this one thing fixed.

My take:

www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texan...
Fixing Texans' offensive line is vital for C.J. Stroud's development
Whomever Texans coach DeMeco Ryans hires to fill his vacant offensive coordinator role, it won't matter unless he also fixes his O-line.
