Insights into the tectonic evolution of the Svecofennian orogeny based on in situ Lu–Hf dating of garnet and apatite from Olkiluoto, southwestern Finland
Abstract. The southern Finland granites and associated migmatitic rocks have a complex metamorphic history, being affected by multiple events during the ca. 1.88–1.79 Ga Svecofennian orogeny. In this ...

The Nordic Geological Winter Meeting 2024 was a success with around 350 scientists on site!
I had the opportunity to present our recent study of fractures & faults with associated alteration in the almost 2 km deep drill hole.
The meeting was a perfect venue to discuss hot topics in Geology!

The shift from X towards the more blue horizon happens next year. Will be posting more here less there
If you are interested for face to face discussions concerning all aspects in structural geology keep your eyes open for the following conferences NGWM24 and EGU24.
First some tranquility 🎄🥳🍾🍺!
