I used to hate it when my parents called me “LangJong.” I thought it sounded odd, like they were teasing me. Why not just stick to “Jong”? It wasn’t until I got older that I realized “Lang” was short for palangga—they were calling me their beloved all along. 🥲

I’m considering a solo trip to Boracay for Christmas since I’ll be alone anyway, but I’m having second thoughts. I think I’ll let the idea sit for a while and see how I feel about it later.
What do you think? Should I book or just celebrate at home and save? Lol.
