I'm a writer and producer (and rarely performer) of theatre, web and TV. Mostly comedy-focused (rom-coms, sitcoms). Last paid gig was as story contributor for The Squeaky Wheel: Canada. Juggling several projects. Montreal-based. Let's chat!

My laptop screen suddenly started flashing black, then went fully black, even after restarting. After just not touching it for a few minutes, the screen came back and now seems fine again. Any troubleshooting ideas for this? How concerned should I be?

In one of those phases where continuing my current rewrite is a slog. I still love the idea and know it has promise if I keep at it, but I just can't help procrastinating, and hemming and hawing over every little choice. #scriptsky

After taking Breath of the Wild super slowly for months, I've finally made a big push towards finishing the story this week. Just gotta beat Thunderblight Ganon, then head to the castle. Still tons of side stuff to do, but I think I'll come back to that after a break. What a game! #zelda

After taking Breath of the Wild super slowly for months, I've finally made a big push towards finishing the story this week. Just gotta beat Thunderblight Ganon, then head to the castle. Still tons of side stuff to do, but I think I'll come back to that after a break. What a game! #zelda

In the past, I dabbled in @magic.wizards.com very casually (the occasional match using friends' cards, a few online games here and there), but mostly avoided it. Never bought cards, never went to live tournaments... but being a Spider-Man nut, they've finally pulled me in. #MTGxSpiderMan

I'm enjoying this season of Peacemaker, but man, it does feel like they're stalling for time. The last two episodes could've easily been combined into one, IMO. This big twist that's supposedly coming better knock my socks off.

Latest feature draft has gone up from 91 pages to 96. I know that's still not too long and I'm sure I'll be able to trim a bit as i continue, but I still don't love having that big of a jump. 😅 #scriptchat

Jonathan, I'm doing a 50-minute writing sprint / scamper each night through September 30 at Midnight Central Daylight Time (U.S.). I invite all Night Writers to join me metaphysically and creatively by working on their own projects during that time-frame.
Missed this, but I'm definitely a night writer, so if this becomes a regular thing, I'm sure I'll join you for some sprints.
