Grief. A never ending process, or at least that’s how it feels. I woke up w/thoughts of my father weighing heavily on my heart. It is the most unfair thing I’ve ever experienced. What I wouldn’t do for just 5 more minutes.

Day 1 of the 31 days 31 workouts challenge in the books.✅ Had to be easy on my body today while I’m healing, but did a great strength workout with bands instead of weights. Movement is medicine, y’all. Get up and in motion today! If I can do it with #SickleCell, then so can you!

It’s an unassumingly beautiful SoCal day. Just finished a nice walk by the water while catching up with my mother. 68° felt warmer than it sounds (to me). Always appreciating the little things.☀️

My original Thanksgiving plan got ruined so I decided to staycation in a different part of SoCal. Turned out to be exactly what I needed! ‘Twas incredible to be taken care of instead of being the one to take care of everyone else!
