🏛️ Where the idea of a “treasury” came from? At Delphi, the spiritual & political heart of ancient Greece, city-states built small buildings called Treasuries. These weren’t banks, but vaults of gratitude — filled with offerings, gold, & statues gifted to Apollo after victories.

One of my favourite parts of travelling? The auto stops. You never know what you’ll find — a five-foot box of donuts, oregano chips, or the largest lollipop I’ve ever seen in Greece!

🌺 Remembrance Day - Lest We Forget 🌺
Today, I pause not just to remember - but to feel.

Scaling Delphi & wandering the ruins where kings, philosophers, & travellers once came seeking wisdom. I didn’t exactly hear the voice of Apollo, but I did get a few good ideas (& a solid leg workout).

We drove 1 hour & hiked 45 minutes through a gorge in Greece — to reach a waterfall called Panta Vrechi (“always raining”). Some places stop being destinations & start becoming part of your story. They remind you that travel isn’t about collecting sights — it’s about collecting meaning. #johnwcurrie
