I love CSS folks. They are soldiers of joy and delight. The world is burning and AI debates have people at each others throats and CSS peeps keep being like “check out this dancing turtle I made out of divs 🥰”

There's something about writing Svelte that feels like I'm coming home, more than any other framework. Like it's designed for me

svelte kinda stopped marketing performance as a feature because "react is fast enough" but... it just isn't. so many of these stories. maybe the compiler will fix it.

anyway the real money quote is "Features that took days in React could be built in hours with Svelte". many such cases!

I’m praying for the day when anchor positioning is widely supported across all major browsers.

When container queries hit I was all in, this is the next big one for me.

@una.im Am I crazy or does "allow-discrete" display transitions not work as expected? none-> block has no transition at all. Am I missing something? I expected this to work:

If Figma doesn’t announce slot/children support for components at config this year I’m going to be furious and confused

@nerdy.dev Has there been any movement on native css "mixins"? I know you can kinda hack it with style queries but having to have an extra container element is *blegh* (especially because what I really want mixins for is font styles)
