I had such a great gig last Friday. We had a very responsive and engaged crowd. Lots of dancing and dare I say merriment. One of those nights that you live for as a musician when the band is playing great and the whole room is on the same wavelength. Good vibrations all around.

I’m gonna compose the music for a short film that is participating in the 72 hour film festival in march. Let’s go!!

What are your favorite bass effects? I like an octaver with chorus. #bass

Are bass amps going extinct because of in ear monitors and multi effect processors/modelers?

What is your favorite string to use? I like nickel strings cos they feel smoother on my fingers than steels. I was using DR sunbeams for years but have recently been playing Ernie Ball slinkys again.

What’s your favorite Jaco solo?
Mine is his solo on Havona on weather report’s heavy weather. Soooo good.

What’s y’all’s favorite bass and why? Fender j or p? Musicman stingray? Or another brand? To many to list here. Let me know.
