I think I need to consider replacing the main character in one of my novels. He keeps arriving late to every scene and refuses to tell me what he was doing before he arrived. It’s like i have to think of everything. #writersunderstand

When you are lounging on the beach and aimlessly staring into the waves, do you start to think about how much was foreshadowed by a previous plot point? I am pretty sure that third wave had a different meaning the last time around. #writersunderstand

Sometimes those voices in your head have a good story to tell. Listen every once in a while and jot them down. Just try not to laugh too loudly, people will stare…🙄 #writersunderstand
