Well, it looks like I've reached 3500 followers here so maybe I'd better reintroduce myself.

Welcome! I'm a writer and photographer based in Wales. I write SF and science pieces as well as specialist technical articles - and the Guardian Country Diary.

I feel the need for some autumn photography. As the light is fading, it might as well be tripod mounted, so why not do some large format - 5x4 - projects...?

OK, as soon as the rain stops then, I'll give the MPP a day or two out in the field... :-)
