Republican Congressional radical ideologues are absolutely corrupted, brain dead or both. Trump's desperate hope is not to get impeached and imprisoned, and that ideologues don't turn on him. Most crucial is that Epstein files are kept locked. He is willing to destroy democracy to save himself.

Examples of "the best government that money can buy" are becoming more depressing. Ohio Republican Senator Jon Husted accepted more than $115,000 in campaign contributions from Les Wexner, one of 6 people listed as Epstein's co-conspirators, and then voted against releasing the Epstein files.

A rule that is legally flawed, scientifically indefensible, and defies common sense, the EPA has strayed from its mission to protect the public health and has now chosen to side with billion-dollar fossil fuel companies over the people it is meant to serve.
