Do you know those moments when you’re reading something and suddenly realize that you have zoned out, eyes have moved on autopilot? Our meta-analysis examined whether those moments can be detected from readers’ eye movements. The answer is: perhaps.

Eye tracking provies rich data about reading processes. @leencatrysse.bsky.social came up with the idea of using social network analysis to analyze how readers inspect text. And it works!

Science centers are AWE-SOME places! We examined whether planetarium films shown in Heureka science center induce awe, and if awe increases topic interest. While some films were more awe-inducing than others, experiences of awe did trigger interest in the topic of the film.
