I wonder if the grandkids might prefer a body double? Does he ask what they’re learning in school? Does he let them drive the lawnmower? Does he sneak them hard candy?

Who puts a monstrous addition on a house they are planning to leave in three years?
Is he getting rid of the Oval Office? That thing on the left is the “ballroom”.

Has anyone checked on the children in the families of those 16%?
New WaPo poll:

16% of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling issues related to the Epstein files. 58% disapprove.

63% of Independents disapprove. 24% of Republicans disapprove.

This is why in the US of A we demand DUE PROCESS. Our family members should not have to identify our snatched, shaved, dehumanized bodies by our identifying marks and tattoos.

Listening to NPR at lunchtime today. Marjorie Taylor Greene is calling for the defunding and “dismantling” of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Clearly old girl could’ve used more Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street in her life.

Nebraskans voted for Trump over Harris 59.32% to 38.86%. Here’s what that got them.
Just as we move into severe weather season, the National Weather Service announces it will no longer send up weather balloons out of its Omaha office due to staffing issues.

This. We are complacent to these extraordinary attacks on due process & equal protection under the law, & on our health and safety, because most of us only know life WITH the protections our Congress, President, Judiciary & administrative agencies afford us. Most cannot imagine what we now face.
We are this way because our institutions worked. We assumed that professionals would take care of things. We don’t have terrible diseases because scientists could do their work. People forgot. Sad they have to learn the hard way.
Americans have bystander syndrome. Most just stand around waiting for someone else to do something. No is coming to save us.

A Federal District Court judge does not “file an injunction.” It is an order, by a co-equal branch of government. The Judge ISSUES an order. And until and unless a higher court stays or reverses that order, you comply with it. Whoever you are. Because the United States of America has no king.
When asked if the Administration will comply with court orders on fired federal workers, WH Press Secretary Leavitt says the orders are unconstitutional: You cannot have a low level district court judge filing an injunction to usurp the executive authority of the President…

Air Traffic Controllers are one of the few jobs with a legal mandatory retirement age, a really young one at that. 56-Full retirement. Perhaps you shouldn’t be firing the newer ones we just spent millions to train, who can now take those highly sought after skills anywhere in the world, you dumbass.
Gee I wonder why there’s a shortage of air traffic controllers

Fun fact: I think I would have had my second vaccination for measles in Lubbock TX. If not me, def my younger brother. Don’t blame west Tx doctors. Blame the intentionally ignorant antivaxxer attention-seekers killing those with weakened immune systems.

At this time of trouble for our nation, the words and example of a friend and one of my heroes, John Lewis, are a strong and motivating guide.

He shared this in his last essay to the American people, penned just before he passed away:

It’s hard, but no more of my $ to fools who turn around and use it to worship 47, the antithesis of everything good.

When someone’s cousin, niece, sister, etc. calls him sadistic or a predator, believe her.
Caroline Kennedy wrote a letter that urges senators to reject her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s nomination for health secretary, calling him a “predator” who is addicted to the attention he gets from airing dangerous views on vaccinations.
Caroline Kennedy Urges Senators to Reject RFK Jr. for Health Secretary
In a harsh letter to lawmakers considering Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination for health secretary, Ms. Kennedy called her cousin a “predator” who led other family members down the path of addiction.
