Excited to have my first paper out! My master’s research on why long-tailed tit eggs vary in size
No evidence that long-tailed tits adjust the size of their eggs based on social or environmental conditions, even when food availability is experimentally altered. Instead, egg size seems to be an inherent characteristic of individual females:
