Just finished Civil War by Mark Millar. I remember reading this as a kid back in like 08 thinking it was so cool, but now as an adult who’s read more comics, this just feels so wrong. I know there’s a bajillion spin offs for everyone, but the main series has characters and events flying by and wrong

Just finished reading ‘Infinity Gauntlet’ by Jim Starlin. THIS definitely felt like an EVENT! The Infinity War movie this is loosely based on is great, but man did this really take me for a ride! The scale and intensity of the battles here was crazy! #marvelcomics #infinitycrusade #comicreview

Just finished reading ‘Splinter of the Minds Eye’ a bday present from @lyricaluck.bsky.social Aside from its novelty as the first book made about Star Wars after the 1977 movie, it’s kinda disappointing in many areas. Still I’m glad I read it, since it’s a book my dad would often bring up w/SW 3/10

Finished vol 3 of the Konosuba LN today. Definitely has the most scenes that got cut from the anime compared to the last 2 volumes, and it really gave more depth the characters I feel get sidelined in the show #konosuba #konosubalightnovel #bookreview

Finished the Jules Verne book ‘Around the Moon’. It has the same issue I’ve had with most of the Verne stories I’ve read so far where there’s great detail getting to potentially cool stuff, but then when something cools about to happen, they never do anything with it

I didn’t know the entire first season of the show was in these first two volumes. The Ln gives some extra details to fresh out the world, but the anime does a better job with the comedy imo. Real eager to get to vol.3!
